Recently, I had a cake made for my son’s birthday. On the day of pickup, I was feeling under the weather and completely missed the pick up time. The staff at Gabriel’s went above and beyond! They called, left a voicemail, and even emailed me after hours to make sure I knew the cake was still there. Although they’re normally closed on Sundays, they were incredibly kind and worked with me to arrange a pickup time so we would have the cake in time for my son’s birthday party. Their outstanding customer service and genuine care meant so much to our family. Thank you, Gabriel’s, for going the extra mile—we truly appreciate it!

We stopped by Gabriel’s for chocolate cake. Their cakes slices are large and there were several flavors to from which to choose. I selected chocolate with peanut butter buttercream. The buttercream was not excessively thick, which is good because I’m not an icing fan. As such, I was pleasantly surprised by how delightfully the icing was sweetened, being just enough to be an icing without being overwhelming. Unfortunately, the cake itself was very dry, not a little dry, VERY dry. It crumbled each time we tried to get a bite with the fork. There was a deep chocolate flavor to the cake but the texture really made it extremely difficult to enjoy. Maybe it was baked earlier in the week and then sold today, I’m not quite sure. When we entered, we were welcomed and the staff member was helpful to answer any questions.

Season @ Gabriel's on Whitlock breakfast was just as wonderful as Season on Lemon Street in Marietta! We enjoyed the delicious ChickenCordon Bleu biscuit, Pork Belly Grilled Cheese Sandwich & Cheddar Grits! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :))

We hired Gabriel’s Bakery to make our wedding cake. Every single flavor combination we had for our tasting was absolutely delicious! We chose a simple design. The cake looked beautiful and tasted great on wedding day. I do need to share that their wedding cake coordinator is extremely slow to respond to emails (I’m talking 10-14 days), and there isn’t a direct phone number to get in contact. When we went in for our consultation, she was very knowledgeable, explaining everything from the design and structure to the logistics of wedding day delivery. I feel like their pricing is very fair compared to most vendors in Atlanta. Overall, we would work with them again, just make sure you plan way in advance due to delayed response time.

I got my wedding cake from Gabriel's, and I was so impressed with not only the quality and design of the cake, but also how seamless and fun and easy the Gabriel's team made the experience for me and my husband! They made exactly what we were looking for and also provided "kitchen cakes" so that we could cover all our guests within budget. Truly recommend them, and definitely try the strawberry cake! So good. Thank you, Gabriel's team!
